How to Care for It

Plant in full sun against a sturdy trellis, fence or pergola, in fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly, more during flowering and fruit set, but avoid waterlogging. Feed every one to two months in the growing season with a potassium-rich fertiliser. Protect from frost. Prune after the main harvest to remove tangled, old growth, since fruit form on new shoots.

The backbone of a tropical orchard. Mangoes, Booth 8 avocado, red mamey, chicozapote, carambola, dwarf coconuts, jackfruit and dragon fruit: reliable, productive trees that thrive in Mexico's warm lowlands and coasts, grown on our farms and shipped by DHL.
