How to Care for It

Plant in full sun in almost any well-drained soil. Water regularly during flowering and fruiting for bigger, juicier berries; established trees tolerate dry spells. Feed with compost or a balanced fertiliser in the growing season. Prune after a main crop to control size, since mulberries fruit on new growth. Place away from patios and cars, as fallen fruit stains.

Grow fruit most people have never tasted. Our exotic fruit trees, from Monthong durian and Emperor lychee to jaboticaba, achachairú and red finger lime, are raised on our farms in Yucatán and Chiapas and shipped by DHL across Mexico. Most love heat and humidity; several do beautifully in large pots.
